What a week we had on the island or Ireland. Mixing a bit of business and pleasure. Seeing @durabunker at two truly world class venues in @ballyliffingc and @portstewartgolfclub was a joy. Even more of a joy were the golf courses themselves, just everything you'd expect and more. Breath-taking is a pretty accurate summation. Almost exactly 2 years ago, we arrived on the site that had been named @qiddiya On the drive out of Riyadh, as we crossed what can only be described as desert, we began doubting Google Maps, until we saw some dust disturbance in the distance. What greeted us was the most barren landscape we'd ever seen a golf course being built upon. Barren but breathtaking!! We've had to wait until now to share our role in this once in a lifetime project, working on the 2 courses being built in #theplaycity - this one designed by @faldodesign. It is a truly astounding project and to see its development over the past 2 years has been spectacular. Bunker combination of @durabunker and @capillaryflow_global built to withstand the brutal conditions of the Saudi Arabian desert.
